Top access door with a charge port, 8" center bottom outlet with a manually operated plug valve. Includes a control panel. Mounted on a carbon steel frame.

Gloucester Model 35250R2 3.5" Diameter Single Screw Extruder – Industrial Used

Used- Gloucester Model 35250R2 3.5" Diameter Single Screw Extruder. 3.5" diameter screw, 32:1 L/D. Has an electrically heated, air cooled, vented, and plugged barrel at approximately a 65? center line height. Barrel is set up for Contra-Cool but does not include blower. Gearbox has a reduction ratio of 18.17:1 and is direct driven in a wraparound manner by a 100 HP Baldor D/C motor with Saftronics SCR control. One (1) HP pump with heat exchanger on the gearbox. Originally manufactured in 1995 and completely reconditioned in 2011 and never put back into service. All wiring on the extruder is run to a terminal strip. New control panel has fourteen (14) zones of temperature controls. Drive control is loose. Includes three (3) new / rebuilt screws. 460/3/60. Serial# 36736/12.

The Liquid stream enters the mixer and immediately encounters the powder (solids) at the high shear zone (rotor and stator assembly). The resulting dispersion is expelled centrifugally through the stator opening at high velocity.

1,000 gallon Vendome stainless steel processor with dual agitation. The bottom and the sides are jacketed. The dimple jackets are rated at 100 psi @ 338F. This unit is equipped with side scrape agitation (5 hp) and a 50 hp top entering homogenizing mixer. 230/460 vac 3 ph electric power required. There is one adjustable baffel inside. The vessel is 72" diameter x 60" straight side with a dished top and bottom. Bottom jacket nozzles are two- 2" RFSO flanges. Side jacket has four-2" RFSO flanges as in/out flanges. Bottom has one 3"tri-clamp nozzle. Top has one- 18" hinged lid manway, one 6" x 18" rectangular inlet, one 6" tri-clamp nozzle, one- 4" sightglass, three-3" nozzles, five- 2" nozzles, and one 1" nozzle. This unit stands on 4 stainless steel pipe legs. National board #299. The skin over the jacket has some dents and repairs. The jackets passed our hydro tests. Built in March 2004.
