Used Prater-Sterling EV-4522 100 HP Hammer Mill

Used Prater-Sterling Model EV-4522 hammer mill, last used for processing hemp fiber. Carbon steel construction with swinging hammers and a 10" x 21" top feed opening with bottom discharge. Unit is equipped with 3/16" perforated screens and side access doors with door interlock switches. Driven by a 100 hp motor requiring 460 VAC, 3-phase electrical service. Mounted on a heavy-duty steel base. Serial #5008932. Possible applications include size reduction, grinding and pulverizing of compatible hemp fiber, biomass, agricultural products, wood products, grains, chemicals and other suitable dry or fibrous materials.

Used-Prater Industries model CLM-35 two-stage air classified hammer mill for fine grinding of difficult to grind particles. Carbon steel construction. It has a 50 hp 3550 rpm main drive and a 7.5 hp motor for the internal classifier. The inlet is 3.25" x 4.5" and is fitted with a magnet. Discharge grind range of 149 microns to a mean size of 5 to 7 microns. Mounted on a carbon steel base. 460 vac 3 ph electrical power required for the main drive 230/460 vac 3 ph required for the classifier drive. Serial number 391002.
