Top load carton / hooded tray size range: Length 3" to 17"; Width 3" to 8"; Depth 0.75" to 4" subject to tooling configuration. Now tooled for 3 trays: 6-7/8" x 6-1/4" x 2-1/4". Has rotary carton placer, Nordson 3100V hot melt glue system, embosse date coder and currently tooled up for a 2-7/8" x 1-7/8" x 5-1/2" carton. Has 36" of load area on either side. Stainless steel frame presently set up with single lane infeed conveyors with timing screws to meter products into multi-pack groupings. Used Adco horizontal manual load cartoner, Model 15D105-EC, capable of speeds up to approximately 125 cartons per minute. Features adjustable centers with 12" centers, a 9-5/8" wide conveyor, 6' manual load area and 36" inclined gravity-fed carton hopper. Carton size range is 1" to 9-1/2" length x 3/4" to 3" width x 5" to 12" depth. Equipped with hot melt glue closure using a Nordson MicroSet hot melt glue unit. Electrical requirements are 230 Volt, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 25 Amp. Possible applications include manual-load secondary packaging for food, pharmaceutical, personal care, consumer goods and other products packed into glued folding cartons.
