Used NRM Pacemaker III 4.5" Vented Single-Screw Extruder With 34:1 L/D And 200 HP DC Drive

Used NRM Pacemaker III 4.5" single-screw extruder with 34:1 L/D ratio. Unit features a 12' long vented barrel with electric heating and water cooling, along with an 8" round feed throat. Screw is driven by a 200 hp, 500 VDC electric motor. Barrel includes a 5.5" side vent located approximately 6.5' from the feed throat. SCR motor controls are included; control panel is missing the temperature controllers. Approximate overall dimensions are 16' long x 4' wide x 5' high. Serial #18031. Built 1982. Unit is stored indoors at our warehouse. Possible applications include extrusion and continuous melt processing of compatible thermoplastic resins, compounds, recycled plastics and other suitable polymer materials.
