Used Heat Transfer Systems 2,858 Sq. Ft. U-Tube Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger

Used Heat Transfer Systems horizontal U-tube shell and tube heat exchanger with approximately 2,858 sq. ft. of heat transfer surface area and carbon steel construction. Carbon steel shell is rated for 80 psi at -20 to 250 degrees F. Equipped with (280) carbon steel 3/4" diameter x 26' long tubes rated for 100 psi at -20 to 150 degrees F, with carbon steel tube sheet and head. Shell-side openings include 4" and 14", with (2) 12" tube-side openings. Unit is mounted on carbon steel saddles. Serial #12915-2, National Board #1802. Overall dimensions approximately 30'6"L x 36"W x 60"T with a weight of approximately 17,600 lbs. Possible applications include industrial process heating, cooling and heat recovery service with suitable process fluids compatible with carbon steel construction.

Used Heat Transfer Systems horizontal U-tube shell and tube heat exchanger with approximately 4,749 sq. ft. of heat transfer surface area and carbon steel construction. Previously installed in a biodiesel processing plant. Carbon steel shell is rated for 80 psi at -20 to 330 degrees F. Equipped with (466) carbon steel 3/4" diameter x 26' long tubes rated for 100 psi at -20 to 150 degrees F, with carbon steel tubesheet and head. Shell-side openings include 6" and 18", with (2) 14" tube-side openings. Unit is mounted on carbon steel saddles. Serial #12915-6, National Board #1804, built 2007. Overall dimensions approximately 372"L x 43"W x 63"T with a weight of approximately 25,000 lbs. U-1 National Board paperwork available. Possible applications include biodiesel production and industrial process heating or cooling of feedstocks such as animal tallow, unrefined oils, used vegetable oils and distillers corn oil, a co-product of ethanol manufacturing.
