Used Rotary Disc Filters
Aaron Equipment Company buys and sells high quality unused and used rotary disc filters. Disc filters comprise of eight or more segments, each of which is connected to the horizontal shaft of the machine. The filtrate and air are drawn through the filter medium, into the drainage system of the segments, and finally through passages in the rotary shaft to a valve located at one or both ends. Rotary disc filters have the advantages that, not only is the cost per unit filtration area low and large filtration areas can be accommodated in a small floor space, but the trough can be divided into two sections so that the different slurries can be handled at the same time in the same machine. Built 2010. Includes 1.5 HP, 3/60/460V SEW-Eurodrive motor, model S77DT90S4 M1B; Grundfos MTR-20 15 HP backwash pump, 92 GPM. Previously used for wastewater treatment.
