Tray height: up to 110mm. Has Busch Model R5-RA 0100 vacuum system. Top film web width (flexible): up to 500mm, max diameter of film roll 350mm. Dome application / Skin, has gas flush. Sew servo drive. Multivac / Beckhoff HMI. Includes Koolant Koolers chiller, model JHI-1000-M. Was originally set up to run trays of ground beef (not included). Mounted on casters. 3/60/220V.

Equipment intended to be used to fill and seal prepared meals in molded trays. Also have 32oz containers and plastic seal rolls. Project was never completed and unit was only used for testing. Modified to add MAP capability. Last used on ready to eat meals.

Used- Packaging Aids Model SLB 1500 Rotary MAP Tray Sealer. Capable of speeds Up to 12 cycles per minute (with gas flush) or up to 15 cycles per minute (without gas). Max. tray dimensions -- (L x W x H): 8" x 11" x 5" . The SLB 1500 Series is a rotary tray sealer designed for modified atmosphere packaging (gas flush). It is a step up from the 1000 Series, and can obtain a residual oxygen of less than 0.1% without the use of a vacuum pump! The main advantage of the 1500 Series tray sealer is its rotary table, which allows an output capacity of one and a half to two times that of manual machine.
