Pre-Owned Vacuum Thermal Instant Sterilizer (VTIS) – 65 GPM, Steam Injector System

Used- Direct Steam Injection Sterilization System, 65 GPM. Vacuum Thermal Instant Sterilization (VTIS) is designed to sterilize fermentation media at temperatures up to 290F for 20 second hold time. Product is pre-heated to 175F before going into the Hydrothermal Steam Injector. The Steam injector puts steam in direct contact with the product and then it goes into the flash chamber, which removes the extra water added from the condensed steam. Then the sterilized product is cooled to the final temperature in the Regeneration Heat Exchanger section. Upon exiting the regen section, the product goes from the VTIS Skid to the fermenter.

Unused Evoqua OSEC B-Pak Series Hypochlorite Generator Skid, 500 lb/day. Complete with pumps, electrolyzer cell, Neeltran Inc. Transformer/rectifier, control systems, hydrogen disengagers, cables, and extensive documentation. The system produces a dilute hypochlorite solution 1.0 wt% concentration using brine (salt), water and electricity in an electrochemical process. With an embedded process controller, the system is fully automated minimizing the need for an operator interface. The OSEC hypochlorite generation system, an inherently safe alternative to chlorine, commercial bleach, and chlorine tablets, produces a dilute and stable sodium hypochlorite solution that does not require handling of any hazardous chemicals. Applications include municipal drinking water and wastewater, industrial wastewater, data center cooling, food and beverage, commercial aquatics, pools, theme parks, and more.

1,000 gallon Vendome stainless steel processor with dual agitation.

1,000 gallon Vendome stainless steel processor with dual agitation. The bottom and the sides are jacketed. The dimple jackets are rated at 100 psi @ 338F. This unit is equipped with side scrape agitation (5 hp) and a 50 hp top entering homogenizing mixer. 230/460 vac 3 ph electric power required. There is one adjustable baffel inside. The vessel is 72" diameter x 60" straight side with a dished top and bottom. Bottom jacket nozzles are two- 2" RFSO flanges. Side jacket has four-2" RFSO flanges as in/out flanges. Bottom has one 3"tri-clamp nozzle. Top has one- 18" hinged lid manway, one 6" x 18" rectangular inlet, one 6" tri-clamp nozzle, one- 4" sightglass, three-3" nozzles, five- 2" nozzles, and one 1" nozzle. This unit stands on 4 stainless steel pipe legs. National board #299. The skin over the jacket has some dents and repairs. The jackets passed our hydro tests. Built in March 2004.
