Handles standard trays without lids from 8" to 21" long x 5" to 15" wide x 2" to 5" deep and trays with lids from 8" to 21" long x 5" to 10.5" wide x 2" to 5" deep. Press features a 20" main cylinder stroke, 20" daylight opening, and maximum operating temperature of 400 F. Hydraulic power unit is driven by a 20 HP, 1,800 RPM, 3-phase motor. Electrical data plate indicates 208 volts, 60 Hz, 3-phase power, 166 total amps, 35 kVA maximum power consumption, and 5 kA SCCR. Approximate machine weight is 27,000 lbs. Serial # 21004. Rebuilt in 2021. This heavy-duty heated platen press combines 500 tons of pressing capacity with a powered shuttle table for efficient loading and unloading between press cycles. Possible applications include compression molding, laminating, bonding, forming, and other heated pressing operations for composite, rubber, plastic, laminate, and similar products.
