Used Stewart Bolling 6" x 12" Pilot Two Roll Rubber Mixing Mill

Used Stewart Bolling 6" x 12" Pilot Scale Two Roll Mixing Mill With 5 HP Gear Motor. Designed for laboratory, pilot plant and small-batch processing of compatible rubber, plastic and polymer compounds. Features (2) chrome-cored rolls measuring approximately 6" diameter x 12" long, driven by a 5 HP single-speed gear motor with a fixed gear ratio. Equipped with two-point manual roll gap adjustment for controlling material thickness and split end guides for containing material within the working roll area. Safety features include front and rear knee-operated safety mechanisms and an over-the-roll safety cage. Electrical requirements are 220/440 volts, 3-phase, 60 Hz. Serial #2560. Possible applications include rubber compounding, polymer blending, plastic material processing, sheeting, mastication and mixing of compatible natural rubber, synthetic rubber, elastomers, thermoplastic compounds, pigments, fillers and other suitable rubber or polymer formulations.
