Buss Model MKS 30 Laboratory Ko-Kneader Extruder

Used- Buss Model MKS 30 Laboratory Ko-Kneader Extruder. 30 mm diameter x approximately 17" long single screw with throughput rates up to 30 kg per hour. The 3-zone barrel is electrically heated, and water cooled and includes a water-cooled feed throat with hopper. Main drive consists of a 10 hp, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 230/460 volt, 1740 rpm AC motor with reducer. System includes a discharge screw extruder driven by an approximately 1.5 kW, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 230/460 volt, 1710 rpm gear motor and equipped with a 2-hole strand die. Controls include an operator panel, control panel with Eurotherm controllers, and (2) ABB drive panels. Meter shows 837 operating hours. Possible applications include laboratory, pilot-scale, research and development, compounding, kneading, mixing, and extrusion of suitable plastic and polymer products. Serial # 97-1030, Built 1997.

Used- Buss Paddle Rotary Vacuum Dryer. (6000 liter) 211 cubic foot working capacity. 316L stainless steel contact parts. 1600mm (62.992") diameter x 4100 mm (161.417") long, dished ends. Rated internal vacuum jacket 2 bar. Openings: top 18", (2) 4-3/4" sightglass; side (2) 11" x 15" inspection doors. Center plug valve outlet 9-1/2". Bare shafted. Driven By 11 Kw 6 RPM Fixed Gear Motor Drive. Our freight specialists can assist you with door to door transportation and all customs documents needed to make the process go as smoothly as possible.

Used 100mm Buss Kneader System with Hot Feed Extruder & Gala Underwater Pelletizer | 200 HP | 2,000 lb/hr PVC Line, includes 5.94/1 gearbox, jacketed barrel and clam shell barrel opening. Includes operator control panel. Kneader will discharge into approximately 5.5" o.d. (140mm) hot feed extruder with 7/1 L/D, jacketed barrel driven by 75 hp motor. Includes Used #6 Gala underwater pelletizer with 12.1 ECLNBF Gtala spin dryer. Extra new die plates available at additional cost. The Buss line was last run on flexible PVC at 2000 lb/hr in August 2022.
