Used-IEC Thermo Model HEMP 3000S high-efficiency multi-phase continuous hemp dryer rated for up to 3,000 pounds/hour wet hemp feed at 70% moisture, with final moisture of 10% or less. Multi-phase system combines flash drying for rapid initial moisture removal with fluid-bed drying for final drying and stabilization. Approximately 2-3 minute drying time with biomass temperatures of approximately 130-140 F maximum. Rated for 220 HP and 8,000,000 BTU/hour, operating on LP/propane or natural gas with approximately 88 gallons/hour LP or 8,000 cubic feet/hour natural gas consumption. Includes metered feed-in conveyor/hopper, feed-out auger and connecting conveyors. Recommended feed particle size approximately 0.25-1". Advanced PLC/MCC controls include touchscreen HMI, data logging, remote access and single-button startup/shutdown. Approximate minimum footprint 30' x 45' x 25' with 36,000-pound total system weight. Possible applications include continuous low-temperature drying of hemp biomass and other temperature-sensitive agricultural products.
