Equipped with a 17.21:1 gearbox rated for 424 HP capacity with a 1.5 service factor, powered by a new 400 HP TECO AC motor (Model EPS4004, 1,800 RPM, 449TX frame) and new TECO AC drive (Model EQ7-4450-C). Includes five barrel heating zones and six die heating zones with new Novus temperature controllers and amp gauges, swing-arm operator station with speed pod, pressure and screw speed gauges, and a 42" centerline height. Fitted with a Thermatic clamp and barrier flight screw; screw and barrel are within serviceable tolerances. Heater bands have been electrically tested, barrel plumbing and heat exchangers have been flow checked, and five new Red Hat solenoid valves have been installed.
