Material of Construction: Match tank material (stainless, carbon steel, plastic) to process chemistry
Pressure & Temperature Ratings: Confirm compatibility with operating conditions
Configuration & Features: Evaluate agitation, insulation, jackets, and fittings
Condition & Inspection History: Review prior use, maintenance records, and structural integrity
Why Buy Used Tanks
Buying used tanks provides a cost-effective solution for expanding storage or processing capacity without the long lead times associated with new equipment. Many used tanks are available for immediate shipment, allowing facilities to maintain production schedules. Purchasing used also offers access to a wide range of sizes and materials at a reduced capital investment.
Sell Your Used Tanks
Aaron Equipment actively purchases surplus and used tanks across all sizes, materials, and configurations. Whether you are upgrading equipment, decommissioning a facility, or liquidating assets, our team can help with buyouts or consignment opportunities.
A tank is an industrial vessel used to store, process, or transport liquids, gases, or bulk materials. Tanks are designed in various sizes and materials depending on the application and may include features such as agitation, insulation, or pressure ratings for specific process requirements.
Used tanks are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, plastic, and fiberglass constructions, with sizes ranging from small batch vessels to large bulk storage tanks. Configurations may include jacketed tanks, mixing tanks, pressure vessels, and insulated storage tanks for different industrial processes.
Choosing the right tank depends on material compatibility, required capacity, operating pressure and temperature, and process needs such as mixing or heating. Evaluating tank construction, fittings, and previous usage helps ensure the equipment aligns with your production requirements.
The cost of a used tank varies based on size, material of construction, condition, and features such as agitation or pressure rating. Larger stainless steel tanks or specialized vessels typically command higher prices. Contacting a sales representative can help determine current availability and pricing.
