Description

This Davis-Standard 6” Plastics Extruder (Model 60IN60TPIH) has been completely rebuilt for reliable, high-capacity plastics processing. Featuring a 30:1 L/D barrel, 8-zone fan-cooled vented barrel, and a 2-stage 6” general-purpose screw for PE/PP, this extruder is engineered for versatile compounding and extrusion applications.

The system includes a rebuilt 500 HP Reliance AC motor paired with a new TECO Westinghouse 460V drive control (NEMA 12 panel), providing robust and efficient power delivery. Its rebuilt 12-zone control panel has been upgraded with Eurotherm 3216 solid-state plug-in instruments and all new wiring, unitized on base for streamlined operation.

With a 13.4:1 gearbox (new bearings, less thrust), integrated cooling unit, heat exchanger, motor-driven pump, and an infeed hopper with clean-out chute and diverter valve, this machine offers a turnkey extrusion solution.
