API-650 Tanks
Aaron Kendell Equipment buys and sells API-650 tanks. API -650 storage tanks can be of sizes up to 14 feet in diameter and 70-feet in height. These tanks are API compliant for storing petroleum and other petroleum products, including gasoline and other liquid products. The API-compliant tanks are essentially used for non-refrigerated services and for operating temperatures that do not exceed 500 °F.
These storage tanks are constructed from a variety of materials, including carbon steel and stainless steel.
The most common standard used is API 650. These tanks are located throughout the United States in refineries, terminals, pipelines and production facilities. The API 650 standard controls how tanks are designed, processed, welded, inspected and installed.
