Spray Dryer Features: Multi-stage spray dryer system (Compact design); Externally cladded drying chamber free of insulative material; X8 Spray nozzle atomization system; Complete with internal static fluid bed and external horizontal fluid bed for heating and cooling functions; GEA- designed and built bag house (powder filtration system); Air heating system including steam and electrical top-up heating; Powder handling equipment and discharge systems; Control panels fitted with frequency inverters. Rebuilt CDI-800 + BF in 2005 and GEA Baghouse replaced in 2007. Evaporator Features: Multi-stage falling film evaporator system; Configuration: 1x 3 stage MVR + 1x 5 Effect TVR & High Finisher; Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR); Thermal Vapor Recompression (TVR); Direct steam injection heating with regenerative section; Shell & tube pre-heater; Vacuum system complete with vacuum pumps; Configuration enables effective vapor reuse, reducing overall steam demand while maintaining stable product quality. Previously used in a dairy application.

Used GEA Niro MSD800 fully integrated evaporation and spray drying plant engineered for high-capacity dairy and liquid concentration applications. This advanced system is designed to handle total solids (TS) up to 55% and delivers efficient, consistent drying and evaporation performance.
The plant features a compact multi-stage spray dryer with an externally cladded drying chamber, eliminating internal insulation materials for improved hygiene and maintenance. Equipped with an 8-nozzle spray atomization system, internal static fluid bed, and external horizontal fluid bed, the system ensures optimal drying, heating, and cooling of product.
The integrated evaporation system includes a sophisticated multi-stage falling film evaporator combining Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) and Thermal Vapor Recompression (TVR), maximizing energy efficiency through vapor reuse while maintaining product quality. The system also includes a GEA-designed baghouse, powder handling equipment, and full automation controls with frequency inverters.
Rebuilt CDI-800 + BF in 2005, with a GEA baghouse upgrade in 2007, this plant offers proven performance and reliability for industrial-scale dairy processing.
