Description

Available for sale is a used Hemraj Model PSD 02 spray dryer, built in 2014, with a rated water evaporation capacity of approximately 10 kg/hr (22 lb/hr).

The drying chamber measures approximately 36" diameter x 69" straight side and features 316 stainless steel product-contact parts, with non-product-contact components constructed of 304 stainless steel.

Atomization is accomplished through a two-fluid compressed-air nozzle, creating fine droplets of the liquid feed for rapid moisture evaporation inside the drying chamber. At a feed containing approximately 30% dry solids, the system has a stated feed rate of approximately 14.5 kg/hr (32 lb/hr) and powder production rate of approximately 4.5 kg/hr (10 lb/hr).
