Description
This Used GEA Niro Mobile Minor Spray Dryer is a compact pilot-scale spray drying system designed for laboratory development, small-batch production, and product formulation testing.
The system has an evaporation capacity of approximately 0.5–8 kg/hr of water, making it ideal for R&D environments or specialty powder production. The unit operates with a main process gas flow of approximately 100 kg/h, producing powders with an average mean particle size of approximately 80 µm.
The spray drying chamber measures approximately 30 inches in diameter with a 26-inch straight side, constructed entirely of stainless steel for hygienic processing.
The system includes two 4.5-inch diameter sight glasses for process observation and a 2-inch center bottom outlet for powder discharge. The entire system is mounted on casters, allowing mobility within laboratory or pilot plant environments.
Included with the unit are a control panel and Barker Jorgensen Type MT29 blower, providing the necessary airflow and operational control for efficient spray drying.
