Description
Used GEA Niro MSD800 fully integrated evaporation and spray drying plant engineered for high-capacity dairy and liquid concentration applications. This advanced system is designed to handle total solids (TS) up to 55% and delivers efficient, consistent drying and evaporation performance.
The plant features a compact multi-stage spray dryer with an externally cladded drying chamber, eliminating internal insulation materials for improved hygiene and maintenance. Equipped with an 8-nozzle spray atomization system, internal static fluid bed, and external horizontal fluid bed, the system ensures optimal drying, heating, and cooling of product.
The integrated evaporation system includes a sophisticated multi-stage falling film evaporator combining Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) and Thermal Vapor Recompression (TVR), maximizing energy efficiency through vapor reuse while maintaining product quality. The system also includes a GEA-designed baghouse, powder handling equipment, and full automation controls with frequency inverters.
Rebuilt CDI-800 + BF in 2005, with a GEA baghouse upgrade in 2007, this plant offers proven performance and reliability for industrial-scale dairy processing.
