A dewatering centrifuge uses centrifugal force to separate liquids and solids. These centrifuges produce a waste cake that is dryer than other centerfrigues and a dryer cake means less processing, reduced disposal costs, and an efficient, productive operation. Dewatering centrifuges allow for easy access to the rotating assembly to adjust pool depth, inspect discharge liners, and other functions. As the product enters the dewatering centrifuge, the bowl begins to rotate and the solid quickly settles against the walls of the bowl. A conveyor inside rotating at a slower speed than the bowl, moves the solids to the solids discharge while the liquid remains and discharges by gravity through the liquid discharge opening. | ||
