The Used KraussMaffei Berstorff ZE 52-48D Twin Screw Extruder is a high-performance co-rotating twin screw extrusion system designed for continuous compounding and polymer processing applications. The extruder features 52.2 mm diameter side-by-side co-rotating screws with a 48:1 length-to-diameter (L/D) ratio, providing excellent mixing, dispersion, devolatilization, and melt homogenization capabilities. The process section includes 12 modular barrel sections with electric heating and water cooling, allowing precise thermal control throughout the extrusion process.

Power is supplied by a 350 kW (525 HP) AC drive motor operating on 3 x 400 Volt, 50 Hz, 3 Phase electrical service and coupled to an Eisenbeiss ZE-042.5-16.0 gearbox.
