Description
Unused Gemco 1 cubic foot double cone vacuum dryer, designed for gentle drying, blending, and solvent removal under vacuum conditions. This unit features a stainless steel vessel approximately 18" diameter x 8" straight side, with clamp-on covers for easy access and cleaning.
The dryer operates under full vacuum (14.9 PSIG) at temperatures up to 250°F, allowing efficient low-temperature drying of heat-sensitive materials. The jacket is rated to 50 PSI, enabling precise heating through thermal media.
This system includes an internal agitator with variable speed (550–3300 RPM) and a lump breaker (2 HP) for improved material consistency and de-agglomeration. The vessel rotates at 2.4–24.2 RPM, ensuring uniform mixing and drying.
Equipped with a liquid ring vacuum pump skid and control panel, this unit provides a complete vacuum drying solution. The Allen-Bradley control system (PowerFlex 525 drives, CompactLogix PLC, PanelView Plus 7 HMI) ensures advanced automation, monitoring, and process control.
