Temperature control panel and drives included. Motors available at additional cost. Temperature controllers not included. Serial# L3201. Built 1991. Last used in the extrusion of biaxially oriented PP film.

Description
The Used Davis Standard 10" Extruder, Model 100TH100D, is a high-performance industrial extruder designed for large-scale polymer processing. Featuring a 38:1 L/D ratio, this extruder is built for applications requiring high melt homogeneity and precise processing control.
The electrically heated, water-cooled, non-vented barrel operates at a 44” nominal center-line height with 8 heating zones. The gearbox has a 15.08:1 reduction ratio and is rated for 1,800 HP at a 1.5 service factor. The extruder was previously driven by two (2) 700 HP D/C motors, which are available for purchase separately.
For optimized melt filtration, the extruder is equipped with a Trendelkamp screen changer mounted on the discharge. The system includes a liquid cooling system with a heat exchanger for gearbox protection, as well as a temperature control panel and drives. Temperature controllers are not included.
Previously used in the extrusion of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film, this extruder is ideal for high-output film production and polymer processing.
