Unused CECO Peerless 324 Gallon 316 Stainless Steel Vertical Oxygen Separator Vessel | ASME Pressure Vessel
Unused CECO Peerless 324 Gallon 316 Stainless Steel Vertical Oxygen Separator Vessel | ASME Pressure Vessel. 42" ID Vertical Oxygen Separator, PMC Part No. VGSP-42I-380SS-001, Drawing No. 9558B-1, is a heavy-wall vertical ASME pressure vessel designed for high-pressure oxygen service and deflagration control applications. Fabricated entirely from 316 stainless steel in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1, 2023 Edition, the vessel is rated for full vacuum to 380 PSIG at 194F with a MAWP of 380 PSI at 194F, a MAP of 380 PSI at 100F, and an MDMT of -4F at 380 PSI. The separator is fully ASME U-stamped and National Board registered, requires RT1 radiography, and is hydrostatically tested to 494 PSI for one hour with no PWHT required. Construction includes a 1/2" thick SA-240-316 shell, 1/2" thick 2:1 ellipsoidal heads with 0.4024" minimum formed thickness, heavy-wall Schedule 160 drain and liquid outlet nozzles, reinforced manway assembly, four support legs, lifting lugs, and a davit arm assembly. The vessel includes multiple flanged process and instrumentation connections consisting of 2" inlet, liquid inlet, and outlet nozzles, 3" liquid outlet and drain nozzles, a 2" gas purging connection, 1" DPIT, pressure indicator, vent, and relief valve nozzles, dual 3/4" level gauge connections, dual 1" level controller connections, four 1" level switch connections, and an 18" Class 300 manway. Internal surfaces are oxygen cleaned with neoprene gaskets and flange covers installed for shipment, while the exterior is cleaned, de-scaled, and finished with a sugar blast coating. Estimated vessel weights are approximately 2,412 lbs empty, 5,154 lbs operating, and 5,163 lbs hydrotest weight, with an internal capacity of approximately 324 gallons and a center of gravity located 13.12" from datum. The engineering design package includes ASME VIII Division 1 stress calculations, nozzle reinforcement analysis, hydrostatic test verification, wind and seismic analysis, structural support calculations
