Manual tilt, approximate 5" tall bolt on bowl extension, spare blades and top covers. Mixer driven by a 2 hp, 3/60/208-230/460 volt, 1740 rpm gear motor, no ratio. This used Paul O. Abbe SBM-0.5 benchtop double arm mixer is a high-performance laboratory and small-batch industrial mixer, designed for precision blending of high-viscosity materials in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food processing applications.
Constructed from 316 stainless steel, the 0.5-gallon operating capacity (0.8-gallon total capacity) mixing bowl is full vacuum-rated at 250°F, with a jacket rated for 14.7 PSI at 250°F, allowing for temperature-controlled processing.
The mixer features tangential sigma blades with two different speeds (front: 73 RPM, rear: 49 RPM), PTFE packing glands, and a manual tilt mechanism for easy product discharge. Additional components include a 5” bolt-on bowl extension, spare blades, and top covers.
Powered by a 2 HP, 3/60/208-230/460V, 1740 RPM gear motor, this mixer includes an Allen-Bradley 1305 drive for precise speed control. Also included are a Neslab RTE-100LP bath circulator for temperature regulation and a Varian SD-200 vacuum pump for vacuum processing. The entire system is mounted on a steel and wood top table for stability and convenience.
