Description

This Used Hosokawa Alpine Turboplex ATP 315/3 Ultrafine Air Classifier System is engineered for precision separation of fine and ultrafine powders in demanding abrasive applications. Featuring ceramic-lined classifying wheels and vessel, this unit is specifically designed for high-wear materials such as minerals, ceramics, and industrial fillers.

The classifier is rated for fineness ranging from 6 to 150 microns, with a feed rate capacity of 1,500–7,500 kg/hour. It incorporates three (3) 315mm diameter classifying wheels, each driven by an 11 kW motor (33 kW total installed classifier power) via V-belt drive. Wheel speeds range from 400–4,000 RPM, allowing precise control over cut point and particle size distribution.

The system includes a Hosokawa Alpine high-performance baghouse dust collector and a Reitz Ventilatoren blower driven by a 90 kW motor, rated for 125 m³/min airflow at 3 PSI static pressure, delivering efficient airflow and dust control for closed-loop classification.

This configuration offers a scale-up factor F=7.5, making it ideal for production-scale ultrafine separation.
