Description

The Cumberland 14-85 pelletizer is a 14” industrial strand pelletizer designed for efficient and precise size reduction of plastic pellets and strands. This machine is equipped with a 24-knife rotor with bolt-on blades, manual pull roll tension, and both knurled and poly infeed rolls for consistent feeding.

It has been refurbished with upgrades, including a new 30 HP TECO/Westinghouse AC motor, ABB variable speed AC drive (panel mounted to base), new belts, and new rotor & feed roll bearings. The blades have been sharpened and fitted with new hardware, ensuring this unit is ready for production.

Mounted on a 33”H steel stand with fork rails and diamond plate steel stairs, this pelletizer is built for operator accessibility and heavy-duty use. With a 64” discharge height and ~101” feed height, it integrates easily into compounding and extrusion lines.
