Used Heat Transfer Systems horizontal U-tube shell and tube heat exchanger with approximately 4,749 sq. ft. of heat transfer surface area and carbon steel construction. Previously installed in a biodiesel processing plant. Carbon steel shell is rated for 80 psi at -20 to 330 degrees F. Equipped with (466) carbon steel 3/4" diameter x 26' long tubes rated for 100 psi at -20 to 150 degrees F, with carbon steel tubesheet and head. Shell-side openings include 6" and 18", with (2) 14" tube-side openings. Unit is mounted on carbon steel saddles. Serial #12915-6, National Board #1804, built 2007. Overall dimensions approximately 372"L x 43"W x 63"T with a weight of approximately 25,000 lbs. U-1 National Board paperwork available. Possible applications include biodiesel production and industrial process heating or cooling of feedstocks such as animal tallow, unrefined oils, used vegetable oils and distillers corn oil, a co-product of ethanol manufacturing.

Shell is rated for 358 psi/full vacuum at -20 to 650 degrees F. Equipped with (1,078) 1" diameter x 18' long tubes rated for 470 psi/full vacuum at -20 to 650 degrees F. Shell-side openings include 24" and (2) 18", with (2) 24" tube-side openings. Unit is saddle mounted. Serial #DK2007-235, National Board #2486, built 2008. Overall dimensions approximately 338"L x 88"W x 102"T with a weight of approximately 69,200 lbs. Documents available. Unit was nitrogen purged by the manufacturer after testing and prior to storage. Possible applications include industrial process heating, cooling, condensing and heat recovery service with suitable process fluids compatible with carbon steel construction.
