Constructed of SA-240-304 stainless steel, 7 gauge side, bottom, and top wall thickness. Includes top bridge-mounted agitator drive with (3) 2-blade wide sweep paddles along 2" diameter common shaft, mixing blades measure 6'2" in total length and 3/4" thick. Agitation driven by Siemens 15 HP, 1760 RPM, 230/460V, 3/60Hz motor thru Nord gearbox with 66.50:1 ratio, resulting in 26.5 output RPM. Top head includes 18" diameter top manhole, (3) 4" inlets, (2) 6" inlets and 12" diameter overflow pipe. Bottom head includes 16" center bottom outlet, leading to 3" center bottom outlet, as well as (1) 8" & (1) 7-1/2" flanged side outlets. Mounted on mild steel legs. Previously used in food processing facility. Overall height is 25'3" high.

This used Hicks Equipment 5,000-gallon stainless steel agitated tank is a heavy-duty industrial mixing vessel, ideal for food, chemical, and pharmaceutical processing applications. Constructed from SA-240-304 stainless steel, it features a 7-gauge side, bottom, and top wall thickness for enhanced durability.
The vessel measures 84” in diameter x 16’ straight side and includes a 4’ deep cone bottom, providing efficient drainage. The tank is equipped with a top bridge-mounted agitator drive, featuring (3) 2-blade wide sweep paddles mounted along a 2” diameter common shaft. The mixing blades measure 6'2" in total length and 3/4" thick, ensuring thorough and consistent mixing.
The agitation system is powered by a 15 HP Siemens motor (1760 RPM, 230/460V, 3/60Hz) through a Nord gearbox, delivering a 66.50:1 ratio and 26.5 RPM output speed.
The top head includes multiple access points, including an 18” diameter top manhole, (3) 4” inlets, (2) 6” inlets, and a 12” diameter overflow pipe. The bottom head features a 16” center bottom outlet leading to a 3” center bottom outlet, as well as (1) 8” and (1) 7-1/2” flanged side outlets for flexible discharge options.
The tank is mounted on mild steel legs for stability and support, with an overall height of 25’3”. This unit was previously used in a food processing facility and is well-suited for various industrial mixing applications.
