Description:

The Lancaster K-8 High Intensity Mixer is a high-performance dual-rotor mixer, designed for intensive material blending and rapid mixing of bulk materials. This mixer is constructed from carbon steel with a 316 stainless steel liner, ensuring durability, corrosion resistance, and high sanitary standards for industrial processing applications.

The unit features a clockwise-rotating pan and a counterclockwise rotating mixing plow, creating three-dimensional macro mixing streams. These streams are redirected through two stationary side scrapers into the two counterclockwise rotors, achieving efficient high-intensity mixing.

The maximum batch capacity is 3,000 liters (1,680 kg of damp sulfur mix) at a nominal loose bulk density of 560 kg/m³. It has a maximum working capacity of 105 cubic feet (10,500 lbs) with a material density of 100 lbs/cu.ft.

The mixing system is powered by two (2) 125 HP high-speed rotor drive motors, while the mixing pan drive and plow drive are each powered by a 30 HP motor. The mixer is equipped with a hydraulically operated bottom pan discharge valve, allowing fast and controlled material discharge.
