Used HJM Precision, Inc. Ignition Cartridge Non-destructive Inspection Machine. The machine has been designed and manufactured for the purpose of inspecting Ignition Cartridges for leaks. It is controlled by a PLC with an HMI for the operator to move the machine in manual mode for homing, clearing product, cleaning, etc., and to operate the machine in automatic mode. The cartridges are loaded into the machine in an input tray. The cartridges are then placed in test chambers by means of a robot. The chambers are moved to the test position. Covers lower to the top of the test chambers and nozzles extend to the test chambers near the bottom. Three axis robot system consisting of three slides and a gripper. The robot moves in X, Y , and Z directions with X being the length of the machine, Y across the machine, and Z vertical. Four test chamber blocks on the dial plate. Each of the test chamber blocks has four chambers in them. Gilmont flow meters and Hoke needle valves are used to calibrate the machine. New in 2019.
