Description
The J.H. Day Model MDB 3 is a double arm dispersion blade industrial mixer engineered for high-viscosity mixing, kneading, and dispersion tasks. Constructed from stainless steel, this heavy-duty mixer features a jacketed mixing vessel with an approximate 35-gallon working capacity and a manual tilt discharge for easy unloading of dense materials. The hinged top cover includes a safety grate and 2" diameter opening for ingredient addition. Tangential sigma blades are powered by a variable-speed 2 HP / 1.5 HP motor (dual speed, 1740/1440 RPM), through a 50:1 reducer, providing optimal torque for challenging applications. A control panel with start/stop and speed control is included. The unit runs on 3-phase 230/460V (typical) and is mounted on casters for easy mobility in production or R&D environments.
