(270 deg C.), and for 2nd evaporation stage: 0.0435-0.0725 lbs./Sq. inch (3-5 mbar) at 698 deg F (370 deg C.) ASME coded, (2) TFEs, (2) condensers, columns incl. process piping, (1) Konus Kessel thermal oil boiler/heat generation unit incl. piping and pumps, (1) Cooling system incl. chiller reducing the water temp. to 39.2 deg F. (4 deg. C.) , cold water tanks, piping, (1) Vacuum units, (1) Air system incl. air compressor, filter, piping. Complete with heat exchangers, back up vacuum pumps. control system incl. boards, PLC, monitor (all control loops), piping(304 & 316 stainless steel), valves, process instrumentation, I beam steel construction and additional instrstructure. In operation from 2012 to 2017. New year 2011. Previous used in a lube oil application. Description
The Buss SMS-Canzler Lube Oil Recovery Plant is a high-performance thin-film evaporation system, designed for lube oil purification and recovery. With a nominal capacity of 3,300 lbs/hr (1,500 kg/hr), this plant is engineered for efficient distillation, evaporation, and separation of contaminants from lubricating oils.
This fully integrated system consists of two Buss SMS-Canzler thin-film evaporators (TFEs), condensers, process columns, a Konus Kessel thermal oil boiler, a cooling system, vacuum units, an air system, and a complete control system with PLC and monitoring capabilities.
The system operates with two evaporation stages:
- 1st Stage: 70-90 mbar (1.015-1.305 lbs./sq. inch) at 518°F (270°C)
- 2nd Stage: 3-5 mbar (0.0435-0.0725 lbs./sq. inch) at 698°F (370°C)
All components, including piping, heat exchangers, valves, and instrumentation, are constructed from 304 & 316 stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
