Overview:
This Gas Plant Unit (ID 9400) is a critical component of a 153,000 barrels per day (BPD) Crude Oil Terminal Stabilization Plant, designed for gas separation, stabilization, and fractionation. It includes stabilizer, deethanizer, and depropanizer systems, along with all necessary piping, valves, and infrastructure for full operational capability. The unit ensures efficient recovery of valuable hydrocarbons, including naphtha, LPG, propane, and butane, while maintaining safe and stable crude oil processing.
Included Systems & Equipment:
1. Stabilizer System:
- Stabilizer Feed Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger Preheater – Preheats feed before entering the stabilizer column.
- Stabilizer Column (Including Internals) – Fractionates lighter hydrocarbons from crude oil.
- Stabilizer Reboiler – Provides heat to drive separation within the stabilizer column.
- Stabilizer Overhead (OVHD) Condenser – Condenses overhead vapors.
- Stabilizer Overhead (OVHD) Accumulator – Collects condensed products from the stabilizer.
- (2) Stabilizer Reflux Pumps – Circulates liquid reflux to improve fractionation efficiency.
- Naphtha Rundown Cooler – Cools naphtha before final processing or storage.
2. Deethanizer System:
- (2) Stabilizer LPG Pumps – Handles LPG product transfer.
- Deethanizer Overhead (OVHD) Condenser – Cools and condenses lighter gases from deethanization.
- Deethanizer Overhead (OVHD) Accumulator – Collects deethanized product for further processing.
- (2) Deethanizer Reflux Pumps – Maintains reflux circulation in the deethanizer column.
- Deethanizer Column (Including Internals) – Separates ethane from heavier hydrocarbons.
- Deethanizer Reboiler – Provides heat for deethanization.
3. Depropanizer System:
- Depropanizer Column (Including Internals) – Separates propane from butane and heavier hydrocarbons.
- Depropanizer Reboiler – Supplies heat to facilitate propane separation.
- Depropanizer Overhead (OVHD) Condenser – Cools and condenses propane vapors.
- Depropanizer Overhead (OVHD) Accumulator – Collects propane product before distribution.
- (2) Propane Product/Reflux Pumps – Transfers propane and circulates reflux for efficiency.
- Butane Rundown Cooler – Cools butane before final processing or storage.
4. Infrastructure & Piping:
- Piping & Valves – Industrial-grade piping and valve systems for seamless gas handling.
- Additional Infrastructure – Includes all supporting components, monitoring systems, and safety features.
