Description
The Parkinson Model 845 Duplex Slitter/Rewind is a high-precision industrial slitting and rewinding system, designed for processing flexible films, foils, and laminates. This model provides versatile slit width capabilities from 3.94” to 63”, making it ideal for a wide range of materials, including PVC and PETG heat shrinkable film.
Equipped with a shaftless floor-lift unwind system, this slitter/rewinder handles 5000 lbs. max roll weight with an unwind diameter of up to 48 inches. The tension control ranges from 0.5-2.5 pounds per linear inch, ensuring smooth and precise material handling.
The winding station accommodates 40" max winding diameter and 72" max web width, with a minimum core size of 38” and max core size of 72”. Featuring Allen Bradley PLC controls, a Red Lion 15” touchscreen monitor, and Yaskawa A100 drives, the system offers advanced automation and ease of operation.
Powered by 20 HP unwinder and winder motors, along with a 15 HP main roll motor, this system is engineered for efficiency and reliability. It operates on 3-phase, 50Hz, 400VAC. Additionally, a Dalmec shaft remover is included for safe and efficient handling of heavy rolls.
