It then pulls the film off the roll using belts or a dancer arm to maintain tension and guides the film through a forming tube or collar. It then shapes the flat film into a tubular form, creating the basic structure of the package. Once the package shape is formed, the machine measures a predetermined amount of product using a metering system and dispenses the product into the formed package.
