Used- Double Drum Dryer, Chrome plated Drums: 42" diameter x 120" long/ face. Drums rated for 150 psi. With Dryer Frame, knife Blade System, Drum Bearings, Drum Drive System, End Dam System, Steam/Condensate System, Product Removal System, Vapor Removal System, Pneumatic controls. Frame is carbon steel with FDA approved Steel-it paint. Knife Blade System: Two (2) doctor knife holder assemblies with pneumatic knife contact operators. The knife blade holders include Essco Type-KF easy change stainless steel knife blade holders, mounted to the main knife blade holder system. Two (2) pneumatic cylinders maintain each doctor knife in contact and under pressure with the dryer drum. Drums is driven by two (2) independent 7.5 HP motors and gearboxes rated for 1 to 12 RPM. The motors are controlled by two (2) variable frequency drives with digital read-out remote keypads. Motors are high efficiency duty motors. End Dam Assemblies: Two (2) aluminum backed end dams with replaceable Teflon sealing faces. The end dams contact the drum shoulders, under controlled pneumatic pressure. Steam/Condensate System. Product transport is comprised by three (3) product screw conveyors complete with 1 H.P. drive motors and gearboxes: two (2) side screw conveyors and one (1) cross conveyor are provided. The conveyors are fabricated with a 2B finish stainless steel. Transition panels and shields are provided to direct product discharged from the drying drums to the screw conveyors. Vapor Removal System: One (1) stainless steel hinged close-fitting style vapor removal hood with a 7.5 HP exhaust fan. The hood is lifted with air cylinders for easy cleaning. Exhaust fan is controlled by a variable frequency drive. The stainless-steel hood covers the slurry puddle to remove steam vapors and contain splashing in the violently boiling slurry puddle.
