Used Patterson-Kelley 100 Cubic Foot Twin-Shell Vacuum Dryer With 304 Stainless Steel Product Contact Surfaces. Drying chamber is rated for 150 psi and full vacuum, with carbon steel jacket rated for 30 psi at 250 F. Twin-shell drying chamber is designed to rotate from approximately 0.96 to 7.66 rpm using a 10 HP Reeves variable-speed drive with hazardous-location motor. Each outer shell measures approximately 56" diameter x 96" long. Chamber includes an 18" access panel and 12" bottom discharge. Product contact surfaces are constructed of 304 stainless steel, with maximum product density of 75 lb per cubic foot. Overall dimensions are approximately 19'9" long x 83" wide x 10'1" high. Vessel is rated for full vacuum and 3 psi at 250 F, with jacket rated for 50 psi at 250 F. Vessel measures approximately 51" inside diameter x 66" straight side with a 12" cone bottom and 10" dished top. Top head is equipped with (3) 2" flanged fittings, (1) 1" flanged fitting, (1) 4" flanged fitting, (1) 8" flanged fitting and a 3" sight glass. Bottom features a 3" flanged center discharge connected to a ball valve, and the jacket is equipped with 2" flanged connections. Mixing system includes scrape agitation powered by a hydraulic motor and a 12" high-speed disperser blade with approximately 19" of vertical depth adjustment using a hydraulic lift system. Electric motor for the high-speed disperser is missing. Includes control panel and Reliance Electric GP2000 VS Drive, Model 2GU41100, variable-speed constant-torque AC controller designed for a 100 hp motor. Unit was previously mezzanine mounted and is equipped with three stainless steel mounting lugs. Approximate overall dimensions are 160" high x 54" wide. Good condition.
