Used Bepex Double Spiral Ribbon Blender, Model IMJS-5. Stainless steel, jacketed mixer designed for efficient blending, mixing, and conditioning of powders, granules, and other bulk solids in pilot-scale and small production applications. Its 5 cubic foot working capacity makes it well suited for pilot plants, small-batch production, high-value products, specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, and color or additive blending. The unit features a dimple jacketed trough measuring approximately 38-3/4" L x 18-3/8" W x 22-1/2" D, with the jacket rated for 150 psi at 366 degrees F, providing robust heating and cooling capability. The dimple jacket rated for 150 psi at 366 degrees F is suitable for use with steam, hot water, or thermal fluid heating/cooling media, subject to the buyer's engineering review and process controls. Mixing is accomplished by a 4" diameter center shaft equipped with inner and outer double spiral ribbons, promoting thorough axial and radial product movement for fast, uniform blending. The blender is powered by a 3 HP variable speed drive with an adjustable speed range of 13 to 68 rpm, allowing the operator to optimize mixing intensity for a variety of materials.
