GEA
GEA manufactures industrial heat-transfer and process equipment used across food, beverage, chemical, refrigeration, energy, and general processing applications. Shell-and-tube heat exchangers provide indirect heat transfer between separate fluid circuits for heating, cooling, condensing, and heat-recovery duties.
This GEA shell-and-tube heat exchanger provides approximately 120 square feet of heat-transfer surface with 316L stainless steel tubes and a carbon steel shell.
Description
Available for sale is a used 2010 GEA shell-and-tube heat exchanger with approximately 120 square feet of heat-transfer area.
The exchanger measures approximately 8" in diameter x 144" face-to-face overall length and contains 60 316L stainless steel tubes. The tubes are rated for 350 PSI at temperatures from -20°F to 500°F.
The carbon steel shell is rated for 450 PSI over the same -20°F to 500°F temperature range and features epoxy-coated carbon steel heads.
Service-side connections include 2" service nozzles and two 3/4" vent/drain connections. The process side incorporates a 1.5" process nozzle, two 2" vent/drain connections, and two 3/4" instrument inlets.
The exchanger is leg mounted and identified as Serial No. 100368 and National Board No. 17048.
