The Praj Industries 1185 sq. ft. horizontal shell & tube heat exchanger is a stainless steel process exchanger designed for reliable thermal performance in demanding industrial applications. Built with a 304L stainless steel shell, 304 stainless steel tubes, and 304 stainless steel heads, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
This exchanger features 460 stainless steel tubes (1” OD, .063” wall, 9’6” length) on a 1.25” pitch, with a 1-pass shell / 2-pass tube configuration. Rated 25 psi @ 293°F (shell) and 56 psi @ 122°F (tubes), it is suitable for medium-pressure process streams. The unit includes 9 baffles at 10” spacing, dual saddle supports, and 4 lifting trunnions for secure installation and handling.
With NB code compliance, multiple shell and tube nozzles, and a 13’8” overall length, this exchanger is well-suited for chemical, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
