Description
Used Dürr Ecopure Direct Fired Thermal Oxidizer Plant (1.5 MW), engineered for the destruction of hazardous gaseous and liquid waste streams, including fluorinated compounds such as PFAS, with integrated acid gas recovery systems.
This high-temperature system operates at 1400°C (2552°F) normal and up to 1540°C (2804°F), ensuring complete thermal destruction of persistent contaminants. The unit features dual natural gas combustion chambers, with one active and one standby chamber for continuous operation, maintenance flexibility, and process redundancy.
The system includes a complete downstream gas treatment and recovery train, featuring SGL Carbon Diabon wet scrubber technology, falling film absorber heat exchanger, dual absorber columns, and hydrofluoric acid (HF) recovery infrastructure. Additionally, a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) DeNOx system ensures compliance with strict emissions regulations.
Fully integrated with piping, pumps, sensors, and control systems, this plant provides a turnkey solution for advanced waste gas treatment and chemical recovery.
