Description

Used Charles Ross & Son High Speed Disperser, Model HSD-3, designed for laboratory and pilot-scale mixing and dispersion of low to high viscosity materials. This vertical shaft batch mixer is capable of handling viscosities up to approximately 50,000 cP and features a 3-gallon working capacity. The unit is driven by a 3 HP inverter-duty TEFC motor with variable speed control, allowing speeds up to 6,000 RPM and tip speeds up to approximately 5,000 ft/min for high shear mixing. Equipped with a saw-tooth disperser blade and an air/oil hydraulic lift system for adjustable mixing height. Constructed with 304 stainless steel wetted parts and mounted on a painted carbon steel frame, this unit is suitable for a wide range of industrial and laboratory applications.
