This Used Union Pelletizing Line, Model 120 L/D 42, is a high-output single-screw extrusion system built for processing rigid recycled plastics. The 4.68" (120 mm) diameter screw is housed in a 42:1 L/D barrel, which is electrically heated and air cooled for precise thermal regulation. Powered by a 147 kW DC variable-speed motor, this line can achieve throughputs of 300–500 kg/hr (660–1100 lbs/hr).

Included is an OMP PREALPINA 11.7" (300 mm) hydraulic screen changer (new in 2013), an atmospheric degassing system, a drying unit, and a comprehensive control panel. It is ideal for processing grinded rigid plastic materials such as PE, PP, PS, and ABS. This robust and reliable pelletizing system is optimized for recycling applications and offers excellent throughput and efficiency.
