Used J.H. Day Stainless Steel Jacketed Mixtruder | 75 Gallon Working Capacity | 30+25 HP Hydraulics. With dispersion blades and extruder screw discharge. Internal pressure: Atmospheric @ 353F shell is 7/16" thick. Jacket pressure: 125 psi @ 353F jacket is 3/8" thick. Mixer Dimensions: 32" x 32" x 25" high, approximate total capacity is 110 gallons. Extruder screw is 8" diameter driven by a hydraulic motor, and hydraulic tilt discharge are both powered by 30 HP 230/460 volts Vickers Hydraulic pumping system. Mixer Blades driven by a 25 hp US. varidrive motor, 220/440 volt. 31 to 125 RPM to chain and sprocket to give you approximately 15 to 62.5 RPM output speed on the blades. NB #1117, SN 86065. Description
This Used J.H. Day Stainless Steel Mixtruder combines high-shear mixing and extrusion in a jacketed pressure-rated vessel for heavy-duty dispersion, kneading, and compounding processes. With an approximate 75-gallon working capacity (110-gallon total), it features dispersion blades, an 8" diameter extruder screw with hydraulic discharge, and full stainless steel construction. The system is equipped with a 30 HP Vickers hydraulic power pack (230/460V) for the extruder and tilt discharge, and a 25 HP US Varidrive motor driving the blades via chain and sprocket, producing an effective blade speed of 15–62.5 RPM.
The jacketed design supports up to 125 psi at 353°F, ideal for thermal control in high-viscosity mixing applications such as adhesives, plastisols, food, or chemical compounding.
