Description

The GEA Niro Swirl Fluidizer/Agitated Flash Dryer System is a high-performance drying system designed for the continuous drying of pastes and slurries such as cellulose pastes. Built in 2009, this system features a stainless steel fluidizing slurry tank (approx. 3' D x 3' H) with a bottom scraped-wall blade agitator for uniform feed handling, connected to a screw conveyor.

The dryer is mounted on an 86" x 87" x 82" stainless steel skid for ease of integration. It operates with 450-630 kg/hr air flow, inlet temperatures from 100°C to 350°C, and outlet temperatures from 60°C to 150°C. This system has a water evaporation rate of up to 55 kg/hr, a maximum powder output of 100 kg/hr, and a 150 kg/hr maximum feed rate. It is designed for use with natural gas or propane fuel supplies and comes with a complete control system and inlet air gas heater.
