Distance between 3" diameter posts: 28" left to right x 15" front to back. Platen area (nominal) 26" left to right x 25" front to back. Overall platen dimensions: 37" left to right x 25" front to back. Stroke of fully guided platen: 0-7" maximum. Daylight opening (total) 21" maximum. Daylight opening between hot plates: 3.5" maximum. (4) Hot plates 24" left to right x 24" front to back x 2" thick, electrically heated to 600 degrees F, water cooled. (4) Insulation 24" left to right x 24" front to back x 1" thick. Main ram diameter 7"-3" at 2600 psi - 100 tons. Floor to top of moving platen 36". Power unit base of press (2) hydraulic pumps driven by 3 hp, 3/60/230/460 volt, 1750 rpm. Speeds approximate 40" minute closing, 2" minute pressing to 100 tons, 50" minute return. Controls: push button operation with stroke and pressure control, dual palm buttons, (4) temperature controllers, selector switch for manual or semi-automatic operation.
