It is powered by a 25 HP DC motor (500V) via a Flender reducer (1.759:1 ratio), ideal for continuous, high-shear compounding or polymer processing.

The system includes a Mentor drive control panel with zone temperature controllers, an AEC TCU100-0 temperature controller, and an Acrison feeder mounted on a mezzanine platform. Downstream equipment includes a Gala underwater pelletizing system featuring a 2 HP cutting head (Model 5MUP), 20 GPM water tank, Model 8.1B.F. spin dryer, a Witte 16” x 70” vibrating screener, and a hopper with inclined screw feeder for final pellet collection and handling.
