Description

Used CO Bartlett & Snow Indirect Fired Rotary Calciner, designed for high-performance thermal processing and calcination of powders and granular materials in chemical, ceramics, metals, and advanced material industries. This indirect-fired rotary calciner provides uniform heating without direct contact between combustion gases and product, making it ideal for high-purity and temperature-sensitive applications.

The 14-inch diameter stainless steel tube ensures corrosion resistance and longevity. The hot section is 7' 8" long, divided into 4 independent heating zones, allowing precise thermal control across the process. The cooling section, which uses water spray cooling, is 4' long, enabling efficient product temperature control after processing. The overall tube length is 18' 5", offering an effective heating and cooling pathway.

The calciner operates at variable speeds between 3.92 RPM and 11.8 RPM, optimizing residence time and throughput based on process requirements. The system includes a variable speed 4" x 3' screw-type product infeed, ensuring consistent and controlled material loading.

The entire system is mounted on a unitized frame, making installation and relocation easier. Last used in a chemical processing operation, this unit is suitable for powders, granules, and sensitive materials requiring indirect heating.
